what's wrong with it?
Posted By: mdaniel Re: ACS R.3 - 11/10/05 04:35 PM
When I replaced it the line ports were good, just the extension ports missed up.

When I got it back to the office the thing won't even power up.

Was looking at getting it repaired for a loaner or spare.

Yesterday I replaced an ACS R3.0. The problem with the old one was that when trying to access either a line (pushing line keys)or intercom (pushing ITCM key)--I just gave out a low static noise. We reset the system (customer only had one module--the 308 ACS) several times. Light on system always came on and the 4 phones would respond to F00 and Ex 10 would respond to System Programming---however the ITCM & Line Keys just would not work. We replaced the KSU and everything worked normal--including the VM. Any ideas as to repairing the module in our shop?---or--who can we send it to and what would be the costs.

I just checked and they do ACS 1-6 for 150.00

Have used metroline several times in the past without much luck.

Units last couple of months and die.

Have used Norstars Electronics with good results with their work but when you do have trouble it takes forever to get back up with someone.

I've had pretty good luck with A1teletronics out of FL.

Hey Dan, sorry we do not fix those, but I have a bunch of your phones ready to be picked up. Or should I ship them? Let me know.

We always send them to Drew telecom In Michigan

They do component level repairs. I have had ACS's with chips blown off by lightning and they come back as good as new.

Pm me for the phone number.
