Will the ESI Digital Cordless phone work on a C Class?
Nope. S-class and above. The only digital phones that the C recognizes are the 12 and 24 keys.
Jim, doesn't the old DP1 (16-button) also work on the C-Class?
Justin
hmmmm.... good question, I never tried one!
I thought so. Thanks Brian. I remember someone on here saying that when installing a C-Class, they would use the DP1's, to allow for greater functionality at each phone, compared to the other phones that will work on the C-Class.
Justin
If I can get an S class, do the cordless phones hold a memory of caller ID that can be scrolled through like the way you can scroll through caller ID on a standard residential cordless?
No they do not There is no scroll key on the phone.
Didn't you just go thru that same thing recently, Jules? That sounds familiar.
Yes I did it. I still have both of those cordless phones if anyone else needs one the scroll key not beeing on the phone were a deal braker in my situation. Even know the cordless phones work great I get great coverage.
I e-mailed rick last night and he said the customer really relied on the caller ID and as I said with no scroll keys it kinda makes it a deal breaker.
I have a Panasonic cordless phone on an analog port. It has its own caller ID function that I scroll through.
