The company I work for has been selling residential VoIP for the past 2 years or so. They are now getting into VoIP T1s with flat rate local and long distance. Are there any installers here that would be interested in reselling our product?

Post replies here or email me.

When you say multi lines do you mean individual VoIP lines in a non-T1 configuration?

Which SME products are you referring to?
Posted By: dtmf Re: Installers - 12/29/04 12:14 PM
Yes in other words do you provide o lets say 2,4,6 lines for small businesses.

I'm referring to the phones you have on your site with SME PRODUCTS under it.

thanks

Rough night last night Mark?
Posted By: SipMedia Re: Installers - 12/29/04 01:25 PM
We sure do. Check out this site.
www.myphonecompany.com
and check out the myOffice plans.
To become a reseller use this site: www.myphonecompany.com/partner

Just a note: We use Sipura devices to provide the dial tone specifically the SPA-1000,2000s. These devices are for the individual lines. The SPA-2000 comes in a 2 line box and you can add multiple boxes to an existing phone system depending on the available band width.

On your "myOffice Unlimited Local + 500 US/Canada + 2nd line" plan, can I port both my existing business number and my existing fax number?

Any coupons?
Posted By: SipMedia Re: Installers - 12/29/04 02:37 PM
Sure you can, it's a real pain in the butt but yeah you can port both numbers. It takes about 30 days.

To All: I will have the VoIP T1 info in a bit.

How does 'myphonecompany' compare to Vonage? I noticed that with myphonecompany you can not use call hunting. I have to ask, how can you be selling this to businesses with no call hunting? I was planning on using vonage in the near future. Can you email me some kind of comparison.

Capitol brings up a good point, I have set up more then a few cust with vonage and the control of your hunting and forwarding is a very nice feature . The customers love it once I show them how to use their dashboard.
Posted By: nfcphoneman Re: Installers - 12/30/04 04:54 AM
Do you provide a disconnect signal? My current VoIP provider does not. When the call is ended you simply get a busy tone if you do not hang up. Plays havoc on the voice mails.

Otherwise, your rates look very good.
Posted By: SipMedia Re: Installers - 12/30/04 07:11 AM
Lets clarify some things:
1. The beginning of this thread began with the introduction of our VoIP T1 which is a commercial grade VoIP product usually for customers with 10+ lines and YES this has hunting.
2. Regarding the myPhonecompany's lack of hunting that will only last until the next version of "our" dashboard is launched. You see, hunting is just another term for "call forward on busy" and what Vonage is actually doing is giving the user the ability to configure their device to forward the call to the next number when busy. In reality the callforwarding/hunting is being done on the device level rather than at the switch level.
3. Yes, we do provide a disconnect signal.

Hope this helps,

If I missed anyone in sending you the VoIP T1 pricing please let me know.

Well so far you have all the right answers. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

This may be a dumb question but I have to ask, I am assuming you can add more then one block of 100 DID's on to your T1 config just like a normal T1 right. If so I am very interested in offering your product to some of my larger customers as well.

The truth is and you didn't hear it from me [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com] is that...there really isn't much difference between the Vonages, Packet8s Lingo etc. VoIP providers. What really differentiates them from eachother are the little features here and there, the ability to offer local numbers in most areas of the country and in some cases the price. But I've found that you really do get what you pay for those companies who are giving the service away for some reason are suseptiable to lower voice quality and higher frequency of dropped calls.

The only things I can say for myPhoneCompany is:
1. We really have a very large coverage area for local numbers.
2. We offer a softphone product that can be purchased independantly of a regular service account.
3. We WILL be having E911 which (they say) is a real 911 service.
4. We do not charge any taxes, line fees or tarrifs (except NJ sales tax)

I guess that should be enough,

Let me know,

Azie

No problem. The answer is yes we can put as many DIDs you want.

Cute story: We have a customer who has a road side service business (like AAA), he took our myOffice plan and put about 100 Virtual Numbers (which in essence are DIDs) for different cities and different states all ringing to one dispatch office. Now people all over the country can make local calls and get the assistance they need.

Sip
My first feedback would be for you to complete your profile.
I know this is a older post but it looks like you got a lot of business from this post and no one asked you to complete it.
