My customer has an old Avaya Endeavor R1.1. integrated with a SANDi voice mail PC based with Windows NT. I am able to rename mailboxes and cos and stuff like that via the PC software; However, I am not able to login as administrator to change the AA recording. Customer has no idea how and has no documentation. I can't find anything on the net. I purchased the "all types" manuals from Sundance, but that voice mail is not in the list of manuals. (its probably too old).

Anybody know how to login and admin a SANDi voice mail by Sound Advantage? (I think AVST Call Express may be a similar product).

Thanks in advance for any help!

This topic might be a better fit for the general Voicemail forum.

I singed up as a install/partner a few years back, went to a school they had at the Irvine,Ca. office they had at the time,They would give you all kinds of leads, they give the customer a new Endeavor phone system and all new eneavor phones, you would replace whatever system they had. But the prices of the voice mail system was way to high and never worked when you tried to Demo it, had a lot of glicthes in it even with all the new release they came out with, the ideal customer was a car dealership. Anyhow,I think I still have two units still in the box, I'll check to see what kind of paper work or manual's I might have left.

I found the two units, it comes with a Sandi admin guide, have one cd that's 4 - port call proessing software ver. 1.6, this cd and the T-connector on the back of the cd have to have the same serial #.also havetechnical certifcation cd, and ver.1.7 software and a ver.1.7 upgrade, they had a lot of upgrades,

I found a address from march 2000, I think they folded up a year or two later, I think another company picked it up for a while, had someone calling me for a year or two, but that's the last I know of. Sound Adavantage,LLC 5 Park Plaza Suite, suite # 770, Irvine,CA 92614 (949)476-1400 fax # (949)-476-7676 www. SoundAdvantage.com right across from the airport. remember this is in 2000 I also have a list of about 100 or so dealers at that time (e-mail list) who's still in business and who's not ??????

I found about 25 pages of a installation and set up sheets, I think without the password, your up the creek, check the sign in box and see how many spaces it has for the password, sometimes the tech will use the serial # for the password, you can set the password from 4 dig. on up. You can try clicking on to the Sandi admin icon. The 3 picture icons in the menu bar to the top left. They are short cuts to items contained in the file and config. menu options.Click the people icon or chose company set up from the config. pull down menu to set up company greetings by DNIS for one company or more.

Hi DJG, thank you for digging up all this information. I was able to do all the stuff you mentioned. I know what the files are named: welcome1.vox; lunch.vox; afterhours.vox.

I know that mailbox 70 has Welcome as the name in the software for that box, and mailbox 80 has Sound Advantage for the name of that box.

I've tried calling from my cell into the voice system and it seems that I can access box 70 with a default password. Then,I press a digit to tell it that I want to re-record the greeting. It plays back my greeting. Then I hang up and call in and the main greeting hasn't changed at all.

So, I'm back to square one. I still can't re-record the AA greetings. I know how to access the system as a subscriber, and admin through the software, just can't seem to get in as ADMIN via telephone for re-recording AA's.

Thanks for everything, I surely appreciate it.

I'll check my paper work to see if there's a save greeting or apply code. I think a lot of the company & custom greetings had to be sent into there sound studio to be done on a cd for the rls. 16 & rls. 17, I'll see what I have.

Hey! I figured it out over the weekend. Its real similar to the call express. I've got all three AA's recorded per my customers specs.

Thanks for all your help!
