I need help on fixing a problem I caused. While transferring a call I accidently hit #7 instead of just 7. Now my number is on the persons phone I was transferring to.

I answered a call and then hit transfer and the extension number. I then hit # 7.

Since our compnay can't find the manual can anyone help me?

Thanks

Try dialing # from your phone. It sounds like callback request was activated.

I have a major problem with this phone system. I don't know how to change the names for the extentions or how to change the time for Daylight Savings. Can someone please help me?

It would help to know which system.

On Elite system
Usually at extension 100 or 101 [The extension connected to port one on the system]

With the phone hung up and idle
Press FEATURE
Dial 9
Press #
Enter the hour and minute via the dial pad
Press RECALL to change to am / pm as needed
Press FEATURE to end

On IPKII or SV8100
From any display phone

With the phone hung up and idle
Press SPEAKER
Dial 728
24 hour military format
Dial 2 digits for the hour
Dial 2 digits for the minutes
Press SPEAKER to hang up

We have the Elite System and got the time changed. Now, how do I change the names that appear on the screen for the extentions?

Name change is MB 4-18

I'm sorry, but what does that mean?

That means MEMORY BLOCK #4, data #18. If you are asking what those mean, you should call a technician for support.

I know about programming but not when I start a new job and no one knows how to program the phone. The manual isn't any help either. Now, can you help me?

Do you know how to get into system programming on the system you have there?

If not, then I am unable to help because it involves passwords that are prohibited from posting here.

Is there any way to tell me how to get to the system programming without involving passwords?

Hi, we have an NEC Dterm 80. Does anyone know how to program all 4 lines for call forwarding to a cell phone after hours?
