Whatever happened to BizPhone?
They are still around. Try them at
www.bizfone.com They were pretty popular for a bit in the in between time before key systems with flash voice mails became available. I know we dropped them when Comdial came out with the DX-80 and flash voice mail. For not much more cost you get a LOT more of a system. They were OK, but they whole idea that they sell direct as well as through dealers, and they are billed as user installable is a put off to most dealers, from what I have seen.

I heard they were in bankruptcy or not shipping product or had some kind of problem. Of course they aren't going to tell us about that on their website. But I was wondering if anyone knew.
Thanks for the link and the info.
Funny how the BizFon 7000 looks almost exactly like the Allworx system. Maybe they are made by the same manufacturer like the Dx80 and DHS. Even the phone looks the same.
Its a branded Allworx box.
Rage,
I think you are reffering to the 680 system, that is an analog system that looks kind of like a DX-80 phone. I do not think it is made by Tecom, but I could be wrong. Yeah, it is analog, not digital....
Those new IP phones look a lot like the new Vodavi IP phones, any relation?
Steve
tampasteve,
I am correct in referring to the 7000. It is the exact same box and phone as the allworx 10x. I do notice a couple of differences so they may be just using the same enclosure.
I don't see much similarity between the 6809 and the dx-80 phone either (though its been awhile since I messed with any comdial/vertical product).
Rage,
I know that the 7000 is the same as the Allworx system box, that was discussed here a while back. It is a re-branded Allworx system, Bizfone buys it from Allworx and puts their name on it.

I know I have never thought much of the Bizfone 680...the phones and PBX feel kind of flimsy...
I did have a customer call for help with one though...don't see too many of them.
Bizfon is still alive and kicking. I am a Full Service Authorized Dealer for Bizfon (both the 680 and 7000) as well as Allworx (full product line).
Both are great products for different markets.
