My customer has a DK424 with a Stratagy IVP8 Rev. 2. They have mailbox 500 setup to transfer to an on-call cell phone. I logged into their Stratagy and the extension string was:

@F,,#45,,,1630XXXXXXX--H-

This worked originally until they switched providers. Now, if someone hits this mailbox, there is a long pause and the 990 greeting kicks back in. What needs to happen is that the system needs to do a hookflash, dial the number and hookflash again. I did verify that 3-way calling was working from the provider. I made a call, did a CNF/TRNS #45, dialed another number, and did a CNF/TRNS #45 and it worked. I tried everything including adding pauses and another F#45 after the phone number. Nothing worked after about 30 combinations of flashes, and pauses.

Any ideas here especially since this worked with their old provider, I don't think too much has to change...
They switched providers, PRI, T-1, or Copper lines?

No change in dialing 9 or 8 or whatever?

Is your desirable end result to have the incoming call taken away from the Toshiba and transferred to the cell phone or just conference in the cell phone?
The original token string you listed above looks like a centrex transfer. You said you now have 3-way calling. 3-way calling usually does not allow you to exit the conference without disconnecting the other parties which is what the voicemail would be doing since it is initiating the 3-way calling. Make sure that you are getting the correct feature from telco. You want to perform an offsite transfer, not a 3-way call.

They have an intergrated T1 which splits data and analog dial tone. So, I'm basically working with with POTS lines. No change in dialing 9 or 8 for outbound calls. My desirable end result is to have a 3-way call initiated between the caller, Toshiba, and the cell phone. Then once the call is established, have the Toshiba hang up. If that is not possible, I guess we can leave the on the call. BTW, I verified on the mailbox that DND is "Off" and store messages is set to "No".

I am getting the correct feature from telco. I was able to initate one from a phone. What would the string be for an offsite transfer? Thanks...
To do an offsite transfer, replace the #45 with 9 or whatever it is for the outside line access code.
How did you do it from the phone?

Try this @F,#45,,,1630XXXXXXX--F,#45-H-
If the above programming from p2ii doesn't work, and I hope it does, you might talk to the switch technician at the new telco and ask them what digits, pauses, etc. their switch is looking for to remove the call from their integrated box (which is still holding up the call despite the fact that the voicemail is using it) and transfer the call to another number.

Different switch people call this different things even though the procedure is identical. Telepacific calls it DID to DOD (Direct Inward Dial to Direct Outward Dial). On a PRi it would often be called 2B transfer. Some would call it a flash transfer.

No matter what they call it, the voicemail needs to dial a string that tells the telco switch to take the call away from the site you are at and transfer it to another phone number somewhere else. That is what you and the switch technician have to devise if the string from p2ii does not work.

p2ii is trying to plot out what the telco switch wants to see, not so easy when he is not talking to the switch technician himself. And, this can vary if they are using a 5ESS or DMS100 or whatever. My best guess is we are very limited in determining the exact string as we are not talking to the switch technician but you can.
What you had on your old tel lines was Flash over trunk
you cant get it the way you are hooked up now.
your only option now is a conference call, so do what Rrino said;
