Just took over a Strata OTX 100. Need help with assigining lines to sets.
Thank you
Ken
HI Ken,
You probably have a Strata CTX 100. If you could give us a detailed list of the cards inside the system, we could tell you what analog ports you have to work with. There will most likely be an RSTU or BSTU card that has 8 analog (or SLT) ports on it. along with a PDKU or BDKU for digital ports. You will also need the admin software.
Thanks,
Tony
What kind of help do you need? Give us the details...
Lines are in system and working.
I want to put them on 2 sets that do not have them now.
Thanks for your help.
Ken
Login with eManager, under Station-->Basic-->Flexible Keys
Select the ext and assign the co lines and ringing to the appropriate keys and submit changes.
Don't have emanager, is there a way to do it from the sets?
I don't know anyone who has done button programming for stuff other than time and such user things.
Please do yourself a favor and get eManager installed on your laptop.
Let someone else advise you on what stuff you should not have on your laptop. Long ago when I first put it on my Toshiba, it would not work with anti-virus and similar. Others had different results so I won't give you advice, just know that some people had problems.
If you have a laptop that never goes on the internet except to manufacture sites, you will be safe. Don't do porno surfing on the same laptop you use for work.
Where do I get emanager??
Can I download EManager?????
e-Manager is the management software for the Toshiba CTX/CIX systems. You must contact your vendor to get a copy of it.
I agree with mj, you should contact your local Toshiba dealer. They will probably be able to log in remotely and make the changes you need via dial-up. Make sure you have a clear explanation of what you want done and they should have no problem.
You can run it by us first too, if that helps. Give the DN (extension numbers) involved and what you need changed.
Thanks,
Tony
Is there someone here who can do this?
Thanks
Ken
Someone pay PM you but Toshiba's agreement with dealers is they only do that in their dealer area and slap the hands of any authorized dealer who does that out of area.
It would be a good investment to call an authorized dealer, pay a tech to load eManger on your laptop and teach you to do programming. The CIX line is clearly in a different league of programming from the old DK and if you don't have someone teach you the basics, you are a lost puppy.
I like helping people but the best help I could give you is tell you to spend a few bucks and have someone teach you.
Ken,
I must agree with ObhhB 100%, in that creating a relationship with your local Toshiba dealer will be more valuable in the end. Have them load a current copy of My Phone Manager so you can make common user level changes to your phones. The first time you have an emergency call you will be happy to have a rapport with them.
