Well, we got telrad PBX 128 with two cabines and some digital and analog line cards and we need to program it. When connecting to PBX's modem and going to "ONLINE PROGRAMMING" it asks for password. the only password works is blank and it get a response of "0" - I think it means level 0 programming which have no feature access. Please help.

P.S. I think the revision of the software in the system is 6.01J

If you connecting thru the modem you will need the correct baud rate. Is the modem a 1200/2400 or 33.6 modem?
What happens if you connect direct to the MPD?

The Modem is working correctly and I have full terminal access to the PBX.

I do not have the PCP software !
but I think PCP software still need programming passwords.

You must have the software to program the system in either case, you only need a password if one was assigned. You will need to get the software for your version, either SS or myself can help you.

Maybe he has the e-manger software and can't get into the e-manger program (you need a password for that).

I have no idea what he's doing unless he's hyper termail in.

Yes,at this point I'm thinking it's hyperterm

I am hyperterm the pbx.

when going into online prog mode it asks for password. only when no password is specified it enters and display zero digit (I don't know the meaning of this, but I think it is access related).

Still don't have any PCP / E-Manager software. Must I have it? What is the difference? Which version should I get?

Thanks everybody for the help

If you are correct about the version being 6.01J then you need the DOS PCP (SBU 6.10) to program the system. I'm kind of curious why you don't go through a vendor though, since the system is at least partially designed, and then manufactured in Israel, I'd think there would be a few dealers around. If you've never programmed a Telrad and need to set it up from scratch, that could be very daunting. If you're just making a few changes then I'm sure this group can help you.
