I don't know if this happens to anybody else but,
when I click on some of the tech. comments (Avaya and Mitel mostly) my computer opens another IE page to odd websites.
Sometimes I get re-directed to a Yahoo page, other times to click ads and other marketing sites. It happens quite often.
I love Sundance but it is driving me crazy!
I don't get this when I am on other sites.
Did I pick up a bug here?

I've never had the problem and don't believe it's a board problem. If it were everyone would be having the problems.

Anyone else having this problem?

Try cleaning out your cache and cookies

Have you tried a different browser?

it's defiantly a problem with your computer...especially if it's redirecting.

Yeah, it must be your computer being DEFIANT....esp. if it's redirecting.

In all seriousness, sounds like your computer needs some anti-biotics. frown

Thanks to all.
I have Windows Defender and Norton Corporate Edition but I guess it is'nt catching this.
I delete cookies and clear %temp% almost daily but I guess there could be a trojan house hiding somewhere.
Know of any good prevention software?

Malware and Trojans Hijack and redirect. Some of them even require manual removal - yuk!

I find the free Lavasoft Ad-Aware and the Spybot Search & Destroy even identify items that Nortons can miss!

and once you get something that works they figure out how to get around it...waste of a good mind if ya ask me.

Malwarebytes, Spybot, CCleaner. All free and all recommended.

Could be a type of virus known as a Smitfraud. Very nasty.

Spybot, CCleaner, Avast!
