I had a job ticket handed to me to replace a MM711 in an S8700. I was wondering what the proper procedure would be? Is it hot swap, or do you need to power down? I'm not an ACE or anything, but just had this ticket handed to me.

Wait this doesn't make sence. Why would an S8700 have a media module? It wouldn't. There is a typo somewhere. Either your woking on a S85X0 or S8300 or the board is a the TN type. Regardless, analog boards can be hot swapped.
