Hi All,

I have a IP403 (3.2) and VM Pro (3.2) with two issues. One, we have short code set up to busy the hunt group at any time so calls go straight to the AA. Sometimes it can be enabled and other times it cannot with the short code. We do not have enough buttons on the phone to program a button for this short code.

Two, the AA recordings sometimes cut off in the middle and go right to the T/0 destination which is a general voicemail box. We have tried re recording and it seems to work for a week or so and then back to the same problem. It cuts the recording off before callers are able to hear thier choices and thier only option at that point is to leave a vm in the general box.

This started happening shortly after I upgraded the system to 3.2(67) which the highest release we can go on the 403.

Tech support (catalyst) did not have much to add except to check the maximum recording setting and I can tell that it is set much higher than the length of any of our recordings.

Suggetions?

Thanks!!

Entry prompt tab on the VMPRO menu

un-check the " Alllow prompts to be interrupted by tones".

This will tell you if the recording=AA prompt is receiving DTMF to kick the call to one of the menu options.
Sometimes female voices especially can trigger menus as they are closer enough to DTMF to cause confusion.

Or, delete the menu, and recreate it including the recording.

Or uninstall the VMPRO client, re-install importing all the other modules except this one, and rebuild this one from scratch.

I can not recommend any technology platform, only technicians!
