I have a potential customer that has a Partner system, I think. She has MLS-34D phones. How can I figure out what she has as far as system, version , etc... I am an Inter-Tel dealer that has done some spotty work on the Avaya systems in the past. The customer wants to have an Automated Attendant applcation. I have looked around and found the Partner Mail VS and it looks like it will work IF the version is correct and they have room in the carrier.
Thanks in advance for any help.

If it's an ACS (feature) (59) from any display phone will get you the the information. If it's a Partner plus or Partner II you will have to look at what's there. There is also a beep code that will identify just about all Partners. I don't have a chart that I can post here, someone else may or may know where it is on the Avaya site.
Generally any Mail VS will work. I say generally because the "baby" Partner and older Partner Pluses will not support VM.
