Where is it defined in a Definity G3 to allow dialing 911, without a 9 preceding? 811 is another telco number in our area, but dialing that without a 9 will just timeout to error tone. It's route pattern looks the same as 911's except for the FRL. Both are Call Type svcl.

'list ars dig' You should see this:
11 2 2 2 911 ars n
This way if you dial 911 it will strip the 11 and insert 911 and route it via ARS.
Your ARS table should look like this:
911 3 3 p10 alrt
I also like to have a route pattern that only routes 911. This way any route pattern changes, don't affect 911 dialing. Setting your 911 to alrt will allow you to use the crisis alert feature. Very nice feature if you not using it. Any changes that you make to 911 routing require a test after. When you call 911 ask the operator for the company name, address, suite or floor number, and the number that you called from. It's also a good idea to call the local police prior to making a 911 test call. Hope that helps.

That should help, thanks. Most towns are fine with the 911 test. I had one who's policy was to send an officer no matter what, even though I explained it was a test.
