I have a system that has trunk lines 801-805 in system. Lines 804 and 805 were dropped, but system still rotates to these lines when outgoing or incomming calls come in. This gives dropped calls because of dead lines. Need help

I assume you are talking about a Merlin Legend system?
If so is your system setup in key or hybrid?
And when you say you dropped the 2 lines, I assume you mean you had your service provider to disconnect these lines?

Need a little more info in order to help you.

You can't possibly have disconnected lines rolls over on incoming calls. On outgoing dialing it's possible until you are not taking 804 & 805 out of Trunk group 70.

Yes they will... unless you remove the lines in the program. Then he said, "You can't possibly have disconnected lines rolls over on incoming calls. Yes, if your forget to call the provider on the t-1 or loop hunt field.

Disconnecting lines from the service provider always gets you back to the installer on your Switch. Please Never ever forget it.

I can beat my head against the wall on all the times this happens. The carrier or the provider has no clue about the premise equipment. The switch is looking as if the lines are still there.

So, every 23nd or 24th dial out off a t-1 gets a busy or your call can't be completed?

This is when things do go wrong and I manipulate the switch and make it key. If I have to and start dialing co ports as a single line phone ex Then I change it back if all lines have dial tone.

With a t-1 its 24 try's on a pri.

Make sure the unused lines out of pool.
Hope this helps.

I don't like this method but it's my fail safe mode on T-1

SS,
If provider disconnected lines there is no possible way for them to roll over even you have them programmed. Only outgoing access will give you dead line with no DT unless you remove'em out of trunk group.
