Merlin Magix 4.0 and Merlin Messaging 4.0.
Added Auto Attendent 2. I want the Auto Att 2 to answer after 4 rings. It answers on the first ring. How do I change it to 4 rings?
Thanks for your help
Ken

If you are not using PRI, the best way is to put the lines in a CALLING GROUP (i.e. 771) that OVERFLOWS to the Voice Mail Group, and assign an Auto Attendant Mailbox to 771.

That way you can control the time of the overflow.

You must also change the number in queue overflow setting to 99.

Merlin man has the answer.

But don't forget to look at the second AA in the selector codes. 1-6. are fine.. If your dialing plan starts with seven then you need to go to the second AA and change it to direct extension transfer and to a separate operator or calling group if needed. You might have to tell the caller...xxxyyyy. A great voice mail for Centrex. The best ever.

Hope this helps

If they don't like the results" I take an unused line port and loop it back to the AA with a second AA. Each concept and customer needs are different.

You have to describe exactly what you doing and how you program it. The way it should work outlined by merlinman. This is the only way to have delay answer on Magix.
