Have a client with a Magix at a hotel. I need to have all calls (both internal and external) reach a SLT as well as the operator console. I also need to make calls on the SLT. What is the simplest method?
I have tried call coverage, putting both extensions in a coverage group, but when I log into the group with the SLT it cannot make calls, only receive, as logging the SLT in removes the phone from service.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is the Console a DLC? If so, program a cover button (Console's Ext) on the SLT.

Yes, it is a DLC. I have tried to program a button on the SLT, but was unsuccesful. How do I program a button on the SLT? And, how do I activate that button from the SLT?
I have struggled to understand this concept, but to date have been unsuccessful.

Using "Standard SPM" you can program buttons on any extension under "CENTRALIZED PROGRAMMING".

You don't have to activate a cover button. It's always on. :thumb:
