New MAGIX 4.0 with Messaging 4.0. Incoming calls go to operator instead of Auto Attendent 1. 6 ports, Group 7929 points to rxt 500-505. When ext (500-505) are dialed they ring and are answered by Att. What am I missing????

Assign the lines (or pools) to group 7929 if you want immediate answer, or for delayed answer assign them to a different (unused) group and Overflow them to 7929 (with a matching mailbox to steer them to the AA)

The lines are assigned to group 7929, but they default to the operator.

Yes, so if you assign them to the 7929 calling group, they will ring at both places at the same time. You would set the Operator phone to delayed ring, and the Voice Mail calling group will answer with the AA greeting.

This does not seem like the right answer.
I could be wrong.
Is not 7292 hybrid intergeneration on the vm???
I'm not sure...

Sorry tt just my thoughts.
After seven on the vm needs to be changed.
7 is a selector code. If they dial from the AA it gets messed up from the default from the vm he did said say 7292

If the stations start at 7. You need to go to the vm and change the zero time out option or add the digit. This is not a default as one would think.

I bet they are pressing 7 plus digits. The vm is sending them to who knows.
As seen ..he set this up as a VM integrated which is fine.. But forgot to change the selector codes in 7 to transfer to what the heck he wanted.
Maybe I'm wrong but im only a technician on a good day.
