I have searched all over the place for phone support, and it looks like I finally found the right place. I hope you guys can help me out.

A little background info first. We bought our phone system several years ago, and the people we bought it from have since gone out of business leaving us with no technical support. Our secretary knew a little bit about our system, but she came down with a sudden and severe illness about 2 months ago, and she won't be coming back. I have been left in charge of the phone system.

We have a 34D partner phone at EXT#10. The rest of our phones, about 25 of them, are all partner 18D phones.

I have two thick operator manuals and an overlay for both styles of phone.

Here is what I am trying to achieve. Whenever I press *70 to page the phones, the speaker on only a select few phones page. There are a couple of more phones that I would like to be able to talk over when I press *70.

I figured out how to make those phones ring, by using the manual and the overlay. I thought that if I did that, they would page also... but I am obviously wrong.

Can someone help me make these phones page?

Well, it appears that I have answered my own question. I was using #501 to find the group, but there were no phones in that group. I accidentally press #502 and suddenly realized that is where I needed to be.

I got the phones working now.

Well, tek428, that gives you an idea of how good we are! smile Welcome, and don't hesitate to ask other questions. Sounds like you had done your homework before you asked. Sometimes that sort of thing happens to us "pros" smile . John C. (Not Garand)
