Hi,
CTX100, using Network Emanager, 4 pstn lines coming in, 16 digital stations and 4 SLT
i inherited that system, and i figured out pretty much everything i needed to do with it, but trying to get a account code working for long distances. so far i managed to request a code for any outgoing calls, i want to use the account code button for Long distance authorisation.
Regards Pierre

Out of all the CIX systems I have worked on, I have used account codes on only a couple.
Let's see how much I can remember. The first thing you would need to do is set some Destination restriction tables. You would need to set up account codes. You would need to set the account codes to use the unrestricted DRL table
I am about 95% sure that you could not have the system prompt for an account code when they dialed a long-distance number. The basic operation would be that they would need to enter an account code (using the button) before making a call, and then dial their LD number.
If you already set up restrictions on outgoing, then it sounds like you are more than halfway there.
If I remember correctly, the account code only works immediately after entering the code. The user may need to dial 9 then the number, even on a square system will line keys. If you select the line after entering the account code, it may not work.
