My recent 9100 install has an Eventide IP call recorder connected to the network, to record any and all traffic to and from the IP phones. There is a port mirror setup by the IT guy for this purpose. Seems to be working ok for voice traffic.
The customer tells me there are two complaints: 1. The number dialed out is not being recorded in the Eventide software.
2. The incoming caller iD isn't being recorded in the Eventide software. Incoming CID is showing up on the phone display. I have to check to see if they are answering before the 2nd ring.
I'll be in touch with their support people. Anyone deal with this stuff before?
Thank you. Jim

The call recorder should be picking this up. Now, if for some weird reason they need the SMDR to marry those 2 up THEN you need to be talking to each other AND you will need to make sure NTP is working on both units.
