I’m still trying to get my eManager software to work but I’m having no luck. Still getting the SQL server error 26 message. This just came to my mind so I thought I’d ask. Do I have to have the PBX (in my case a CTX100) connected to a power source and hooked up to ethernet for it to communicate to the eManager software with the IP address? I temporarily don’t have the CTX100 right now and I just thought of that being a possible cause for a problem while I’m messing around trying to get the software to work even though I watched a video online of how to solve the SQL error problem? Thanks in advance, Jared!

When I get the CTX100 back, would connecting my laptop directly into the CTX help?

The phone system doesn't come into play until after you login, select the PBX connection, and then press the connect button. Just logging into eManager doesn't require a phone system yet. I have probably 10-15 PBX connections on my laptop and 30+ on an office PC (for dial-up).
I have run into this SQL issue a couple times, but I have always been able to resolve it with an uninstall and clean re-install.

I just uninstalled all SQLs and then reinstalled everything on my laptop and I still have the SQL error. Just out of curiosity, is there an issue with SQL server lately? I have noticed that all of a sudden my PCs that have emanager on it has the same SQL server error message including a very old laptop from around 2007, which seems strange to me? Any other ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Clean install of Windows and then do the install of Network eManager and it will work. Windows updates are NOT your friend with NeM software.
You don't need to be hooked up to a CTX/CIX to run the NeM software
