The licenses are used in numeric order in 47-02. A mailbox built in 11 with only 10 licenses will not get a mailbox. You can use one of the 16 group mailboxes since they do not use licenses.

What do you think would happen if someone was to check 47-02-20 on more the one
Mailbox if they didn’t know that there was only one license
I’m just thinking out of the box whatever

Say the customer was trying to get in there and who knows I was just curious

It would make sense if only one mailbox was checked off I know they go in numerical order as far as how many mailbox license you have

Again I was just curious

Thanks for the responses

My understanding is that mailbox 1 gets the first licence and so on.

I am pretty sure, someone can check this that just MB licenses start at index 1. VM to email licenses are taken when an email address is in the line for that mailbox. I REALLY wish they would make it activate licenses for active mailboxes so that you could leave spaces. Would make it a lot easier.

Coral Tech,
You are right mailbox licenses begin with 1, voicemail to email licenses count begins with any active (licensed) mailbox.

I believe this was only true on the 8100. In the 9100 you should be able to chose any mailbox no matter what the order they are in or what mailbox number they are

sv9100 identical as sv8100. Mailbox are licensed starting to mailbox one. We tried to use mailbox numbers 101, 102, 103 etc... to match it with the extension but it was not working.
