I was just wondering if anyone has used a PA-2A Paging AmplifierLoud Ringer for external paging which uses a unused co port as opposed to a digital port and a PDGU
I have been so used to using a digital port but was trying save a little bit on install
its a small area that they want the paging horn in
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

The main processor has a page port. I almost never use it but it is there and cost is the driving factor....

It's been a while since I messed with it on a 9100, but I didn't have any luck with the built in page port. Ended up using a PDGU, and was able to do two zones then.

Yes it works fine what do you mean the paging adapter works better Are you talking about the quality of the page Or is this some sort of issue by using the paging port on the CPU I thought I saw that somewhere I haven’t use the page and put on the CPU in a long time I’ve always use the paging adapter
Let me know if you get a chance
Thanks
