6 Line business keyset (or less if act as ICM)
CO lines vertical down the right hand side
DTMF not Rotary
Non-Speakerphone
Probably a Display set
8 feature keys (2 rows of 4) above dialpad
Feature keys are not DSS (non-LED)

Trying to remember KSU's that were 6x12, 6x16 et cetera

First thought was a TIE but the CO lines positions don't match up with my memory.
2nd thought was a Panasonic Easa-Phone
Not a AT&T Merlin, Partner, Spirit
Not a Comdial 6x16, the button layout is wrong
Not an Inter-tel GLX

Not Toshiba, Sun Moon Star, Not Premier 1A3, Not Nortel...

Doesn't appear to be a ComKey, but my memory isn't working full time any more.

Hint request: Is the electronic hookswitch is a separate part of the assembly or does than handset hang vertical over the dialpad?

Of course you may not get many guesses because everyone knows that opening up the telephones automatically voids the warranty.

The button layout looks a tiny bit like a Definity 6408...but...some function keys are missing.

Nope on all guess. Take a close look at the boards, these phones had a foam pad in between the shell and the button circuit board.

The molecular structure on the foam has dissolved most of itself away over the years, but manufacture used foam in their phones?
