customer has an 824 with flash 2 vm, exp sta and co cabinets as well. auto attendant answeres all calls. sometimes but not always when they dial an extension it says it is an invalid extension. any ideas on what would cause this. thanks. dave

Fumble fingers at the caller's end....dialing too fast for the AA to recognize all the digits...caller using a cell phone....etc. In other words it may not be your problem...

Yes too many ways. I would go to site and use both a cell phone and a land line and test each line many times to narrow it down to see if it's one line effected. Then see if that one line has less voltage at idle then the others or dial tone sounds different. If it's one line move it to another another line port and/or card and test again.
Also check DTMF timers option F983 option 8
