Greetings, I'm trying to create a ring group where a call will appear and ring on something other than the main call key. The call comes in on a DiD that rings the receptionist so I added a virtual single line to the 5th key of the other phone they want it on as a cc key. If I call the ring group with the reception extension and the virtual single line in it the receptionist phone rings but the virtual single line only flashes red on the 5th key of the other phone. Any thoughts? If I call the virtual extension directly it rings fine one the phone. TIA,

So you put a DS key on the set for the virtual extension. So yes that won't ring. What if you station pair the virtual and the other phone that has the DS for the virtual extension?

I ended up putting the virtual extension and the users extension in the ring group with the attendant extension. This way he sees the virtual flash and his extension ring when it is an external call for the attendant. Thanks for the advice.
