Greetings,
What is the best way to make a conference call using an IP set? If I dial an external number press conference and then dial an internal number and it goes to voicemail the book says hang up and press conference to get back the original call. That disconnects both calls. If I make an external call put it on hold and then call an internal extension and they answer and press conference held line conference conference that works to create a conference call. Is that the best way to do an external and 2 internal? Would that also be the best way to do one internal and 2 external?

I haven't done this in a while, but once you get to the person's vm, i would just press the call 1 key to get back to the orginal caller.
You press conference between each call, then press conference twice to get all parties into the conference.
eg call person 1, press conference, call person 2, press conference twice, you are then in a 3 way call.
