Good day all,
I have the Samsung iDCS 100 KSU system M/N KP100DM1/XAR S/N - 2L2H145050Z. After a bad power surge a few days ago, nothing was being displayed on any of the phones initially. Unit appeared to be cutting on (DC and AC leds were lit) however nothing. The AC led looked a bit dim. After some troubleshooting found the -55 V was not being detected on my meter and I found a blown fuse at F5 location and replaced. Now, phones come up and I get a display but when I try to pickup any handset, the dial tone sounds off as if there is some voltage on the line? Hard to explain but dialing a number just says 'invalid number and alot of static. Internally dialing to extensions work fine. Any ideas what this can be? Also, no calls are coming through externally(not ringing)I am not a phone tech but have some electronics repair background.
Thanks for any help given!

Check the country setting in mmc 812.It would also sound like the programming has defaulted .

The CAPS look good on the supply. I read somewhere in here that if the AC LED looks dim the supply could be bad? After changing the fuse the system was able to boot but no calls coming in. Internally all the extensions seem fine and people can call each other. Not sure how to check the programming?

The system may have defaulted. You have to get it setup again to work properly for your country. This is really more set for a samsung tech to do the job. It's hard to explain if you don't know how it works or needs to work.

As people said before could have defaulted calls would ring 500 on default which should have 201 in it

So on the displays of the phones, only a number like 201 or 205 is displayed for the extension instead of the name so this means the settings have defaulted correct? Would the older settings be stored somewhere ?
Thanks

Sounds like it defaulted yes.You would also notice the time/date would be off and the keys don't work how they should. The fact you say the dial tone sounds off is the first tip that it's defaulted and the country needs to be set up.Programming would be lost unless there is a backup somewhere. Now if it was January you could talk me into coming down and reprogramming it for you
