I am not very familiar with these systems but have already upgraded a customers Officeserv 7100 box to support up to 28 phones. It has a Uni card with 2 x 4DLM cars and a 2BRM card. It also has a 16DLI card and an MP10 card with MGI16 card, SVMi8 card and 4DLM card. I believe it will support more phones but am not sure what is required. Can 16DLI cards be upgraded?, if so how would you plug the additional handsets in. How easy is it to swap configurations from the 7100 to say a 7200?

There seems to be a mistake. OfficeServ 7100 only have 3 slots (MP10 card + 2 cards). You can have 28 phones with following configuration:
slot 0: MP10 + 4DLM card slot1: UNI card with 2 x 4DLM cards and a 2BRM card slot2: 16DLI card
with this configuration you have 28 phones
For additional phones you can use IP phones (up to 60 phones alltogether with digital phones), but you will need MGI licences (since you don't have space for MGI16 card)
If you swap to 7200 you have 2 options:
OS7200S you will need OS7200 cabinet and MP20S processor. You can use all of your cards including UNI with 2 x 4DLM cars and a 2BRM card. you can add MGI16 card, SVMi8 card
OS7200 you will need OS7200 cabinet and MP20 processor. You won't be able to use UNI card with 4DLM and 2BRM. You will need 4BRI card for ISDN lines. You wil be able to expand the system with another cabinet if needed.

Hi Hofman
Thanks for the reply, sorry if it wasn't clear when I said about cards; I listed the daughter boards on the main cards. It has an MP10 card, Uni card and the 16DLI with daughter boards plugged in where I have listed them. It says it has an MGI16 board on the MP10 card, so would it still need the licenses? Where do you obtain them?
How do you connect the additional IP phones, does it just connect through the lan and point back to the IP address of the Officeserv system, do you have to use Samsung IP phones?

If you have an mp10 not an mp10a you cannot get licensing anymore. Samsung ended support for those years ago.
