I am sometimes asked to look at an Officeserv 7100 system for a customer who I provide computer support to, so not an expert by any means on these systems.
One extension is having an intermittent problem when they pop a call on hold and speak to other extensions on the system. When they use the red hold button to put the call on hold and then later try to release the call from hold, the caller is sometimes not released from hold and is left "in limbo". on the phone which put the call on hold, it shows a message saying "no port on hold".
Does anyone have any idea or experienced this problem themselves?

Try changing the Ehold recall timer to 0, I would also increase the system hold timer or even set that to 0 also if they don't need it to recall to the phone.

How're they attempting to pick the call back up? They can't hit the hold button. They must hit the flashing call or line button.
