I wish this board was searchable, since I suspect this already asked/answered, but in quick review I can't find it.

Is it possible for individual stations on an Axxess system to have different ring counts?

That is, if set,

ext. 1111 rings up to 5 times,
ext. 1112 rings up to 3 times,
ext. 1113 rings up to 7 times, etc., before going to VM or next programmed destination.

TIA

You can set your timers.

As for searching, there are a couple of ways to do it. There is a search link up at the top right below the Post New Topic button. Just make sure you're only trying to search a single forum or it'll take a long time.

The other way to search is to search google with your criteria and use the site:sundance-communications.com limiter.

For instance, the following URL would search the terms system forwarding path on this board:

There are two timers in the system that will be affected.

What you are requesting can be done, but takes some time-consuming programming as you need to set up a custom forward path for each station.

Timers:
System forward initiate (this determines how long a call rings before going to the next forward point.

System forward advance (this determines now long a call rings to any subsequent forwarding points in the forward path.

So, if you set each timer to 6 seconds (1 full ring is 3 secs of silence and 3 secs of ringing) you will have more flexibility.

So once those timers have been set, you need to create your custom forward patchs.

For example: Say I want x100 to ring 3 rings before going to voicemail. (in this case my ext# for voicemail is 2500). I would create a cusom fwd path where the first two fwd points are x100 and the third forward point is x2500, voicemail.

Kludgy, but it will work.

Ain't technology wonderful? Nothing like being on the bleeding edge. smile
