On an InterTel Axxess 5.346 PBX, I've been unable to get name and number to come up on standard 550-4400 terminals. The 550-4400s are the only phones we have, so I unfortunately can't test with another phone model.
I've verified with our vendor, Cbeyond, that Caller ID name and number is being sent.
I've verified that we have a PRI T-1 with PAL chip.
The CO switch type is set to National ISDN2.
All Associated CID flags are set correctly.
Our options card (OPC) may be set incorrectly, but I would need some instruction on how to ascertain if that is causing the issue. On the Options Card I've got DSP1 with a value of "12 Conference and 4 DTMF".
Can anyone shed some light on this?

sorry do you mean the ddi name and the external parties number at th esame time?

I mean the name and number of the party calling in from the outside, at the same time. Right now we get "Ringing In" and then the number of the outside caller. We're supposed to be getting the name of the party calling as well as the number.

I dont think i can help on this one we do not have this facility in the UK, i have read some of the previous posts on this subject and it may be worth having a read through as it seems quite a common issue, I unfortunately have never seen it as we cant do it here.

Have you toggled the phone with the '379' feature code (outside call information has priority)?

If the carrier is sending it, you will see it provided you have the flags set correctly.
I've had carriers tell me that they were sending name and number when they really were not.

I am sorry but unfortunately you cannot get name and number to display on both lines at your current software release. That feature was available around 9 or 9.1
