Hello,
I have a system which has developed a lot of Static background noise when customers are put on hold or the music feature is turned on through the keysets, I removed the audio source from the system but the static is still there. I checked the audio source and it is fine and clean, when the audio source is hooked to the CPU the music is not heard in the system, just the static! The static comes and goes in intensity.
Any ideas would be appreciated

When you removed the audio source, did you unplug the cable from the audio, or from the cabinet? A short in the audio cable could be causing the issue.
If the cable was completely removed from the cabinet yet you were still hearing the static, I'd be inclined to frog the card. It's sounding a bit like it's going to be something on the board.

Yes the audio static is coming from the CPU, the static is there with the audio cable disconnected. I was thinking of adding a OPC so i had the MOH but I am not sure if the OPC needs to be a certain version to work with 9.006
