I swapped out a 7100 with a 7200S. I need to move the individual voicemail greetings over.
I have the contents of the SD card. Mailbox 399 for example. How do I find the file and move it over?

You're better off doing a vm backup/restore via DM.
If your 7100 is a MP10 you can't do it, if it's a MP10a you can do it.
The MP10 used a different codec on the mailbox/prompts to the OS7030/OS7200S

I've never tried but i don't see any reason why you couldn't.

I would think so too. The prompts are no problem. In that VM folder under prompts 1001.726, etc. but where are the individual voicemail stuff?

They are stored in NAND flash on the MP card.
Hence why you need todo a backup to get them along with your prompts and block table.
They are the .MBX and .EXT files.

I also can't see why you couldn't restore the 7200S from the 7100 backup. You have nothing to lose trying it ,let us know if it works.I think it will

I have done this from a 7030 to a 7100 just had to rename the file extender to match the 7100 backup. It should work without a hitch. But we all know how Samsung is.
