I am having some trouble getting a INT1400 cordless phone to ring for internal extension calls.
We have the cordless phone set up for our receptionist so that she can answer all incoming calls when she is away from the front desk. The cordless works great for any external incoming calls, but does not currently ring or even acknowledge on the front display an incoming internal extension call.
Any ideas as to what would be causing this kind of behavior?
I am positive the INT1400 cordless can accept internal extension calls because the manual for it specifically talks about how to answer that type of call.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!

Here's a test to try. Use another phone on the system and dial the extension of the cordless - does it ring? If not you may have the ringer turned off, or perhaps the ring generator on your station card isn't working. If there's an incoming call, are you able to Reverse Transfer using the cordless? Once the call is ringing (or should be), can you use the cordless to dial 4+ ext of the hunt group that's ringing? If you CAN reverse transfer the call and your ringer is in the ON position, you've got a bad ring generator.

Dial 319 on the keypad to turn off handsfree.
Ain't technology wonderful? Nothing like being on the bleeding edge.
