Anybody had an issue with PRI where users cannot dial out? Customer gets a busy signal when trying to call out. If they receive an incoming call, outbound starts working.
Happens every morning. Once they answer an incoming call, outbound starts working.
System is a 9100. Weird thing too is in f-route table for 911 dialling, we had to remove all digits and then reinserting 911 vs usually setting it as a two digit number. 9,911 worked right off the bat. Going to try setting 9 back to a trunk access code to see if maybe something goofy going on with f-route tables.
Spoke with a colleague who has experienced similar issue on 9300 that intermittently cannot call out. Telco of course says nothing wrong with the PRI.

Check your trunk type to makes sure all your PRI trunks are set to DID and are in the same trunk group. After that direct select that PRI channel and try to dial out and see if it IS a carrier issue. These are just T-1's you can and do get bad channels. Also check your trunk group numbering and reverse the order to see if skipping that channel fixes the issue temp. Can't see how this can be an FROUTE issue if it starts working all of a sudden.
