Customer connected new 2N IP doorphone to OS7200 v4.80 and have problems with DTMF tones for opening the door.
It's working from Samsung IP phones, but not working from DLI and dect (analog) ports.
We use MGI16 card, MPS function is off. Have tried setting dtmf type to RFC2833 but still not working.
Another strange issue is, if the doorphone calls an analog extension, it does not reccognise OnHook, and stays somehow in use. I have to clear the call manually in 6.3.5 Port clear.
Any ideas?

I have one of these installed at a site with only SMT phones and it works well.
I remember there are a lot of options in the door phone.
MPS will have no bearing on digital handsets at all (or your site at all since you have a MGI16 (unless it's a OS7100))
Check you MGI settings for the DTMF type. Check the SIP station settings for the DTMF type, and make sure they all match what you have configured in the door phone itself.

I think I found the solution - DTMF type must be set in 2.1.5 System Options and NOT in 5.2.16 MGI Options (under MGI3 - this does not affect MGI16 card).
The other setting is in SIP Phone Information 2.7.2
In system options I've set DTMF type to Inband(In Voice), in SIP Phone Information I've set DTMF type to RFC2833.
I have to check if the other issue is still present (SIP doorphone not disconnecting the call).

The settings must match in the SIP phone config in the system and on the phone.
Those 2 options are for VoIP trunks, not for sip extensions.
MGI3 is for the original OS7000 MGI card (and possibly the onboard MGI for old software) MGI6 is for the MGI16
The DTMF type shouldn't have any bearing on call disconnection, sounds like it's not detecting busy tone.
