My customer's 2nd line in his telco hunt group is also his fax line. He currently has distinctive ring on the line so normal voice roll overs ring the phone, and the distinctive ring's 2 short rings are ignored by the office staff, and the fax machine answers it.
Installing an SL1100, and have been told by Ntac that the distinctive ring won't be any help. Program 47-08-04 lets me enable fax detection and assign the fax extension. But how to handle the voice calls that roll over to line 2?
Can't make Line 2 DIL to fax ext. or it will miss voice calls. Connect the fax ahead of the system and let distinctive ring do it's thing?

Try a distinctive ring line sharing device like the multilink SR 3 ahead of the SL 1100 https://multi-link.net/products/line-sharing
