Is it the same on the IPEdge as it is on the CIX where Polycom's setup as SIP ext. can't initiate conf calls from the Polycom ??

I was told by Toshiba that you can use the SIP Polycom to make a conference call on an IPEdge but I have not tested this. With a CIX there is only 1 talk path per SIP extension, but as a work around you can create 2 extensions in the Polycom on the CIX

If you configure the SIP extension in the IPedge to use more than 1 SIP channel number that should work.

It worked just setting it up as a SIP ext. comes to find out the customer had some type of conf bridge from Windstream before we put the IPEdge in.
