I have a small office lite that will not use box 9996 to dial message waiting codes. I have been using these for years and now cant get the serial port to work and now this either. I am fine with using the codes as it is a small system with not alot of boxes...also the operator kept getting a message after her phone beeped that said I have a message for you.
Thanks

Did you run 1st time setup again? Change extension ports? Verify the serial port is good?

Hi and thanks for the reply, I was able to just use the old method for now but thanks again...I do have another question, I put a different small office lite D2 in and when I create a mailbox and try and log in from that mailboxes extension it says "im sorry that was not a valid entry" and then goes to my 800 greeting..it doesnt go on to box 9992 and ask for the password. It did work twice and was able to set up two boxes but hasnt since it just stays in 800..Thanks for any help you can give I havent seen this one before

Look at your prototype mailbox. All boxes are built on that template.
