Good evening, Gentlemen:
I am posting here for maximum exposure.
For a particular specialized application, I need to acquire about (six) 66-M-50 terminal blocks.
The ones I need are the older style, which were made up until a few years ago. They are about 1/4 inch deeper than the newer ones that are marketed as "Cat5e". When compared side-to-side with the newer version, the difference in thickness of the body is obvious. In fact, you may already be aware of this size difference, when you went to install additional blocks next to older ones, and said "WTF?" The new ones do not stick out from the wall as far, in other words.
I can use new or used blocks of this type. They can have writing on them or broken fanning strips. Condition is not important as long as all the pins are present and not severely bent. I will be removing the pins, in fact, to use in different blocks.
I am willing to pay the equivalent money that new ones would cost, plus shipping charges. Would you check your junk piles and top shelves for these? Thank you!

I think you're describing 66 blocks that are manufactured by Suttle Apparatus. They are designed much like those that were manufactured by Western Electric.
As far as I know...Suttle still makes them.

I have a few blocks laying around, waiting is time to be used ( probably unlikely), I can check into it as I believe they are of older style.

Well, thanks, all of you.
Someone contacted me privately and I now have 6 of them on the way.

Are the pins replaceable? I think there is a slide locking flat panel on the bottom of the block, but I've never done anything with it as far as trying to remove it or disassemble the 66 in any kind of way shape or form.

I've taken old blocks apart to scrap the pins, the backs just pry off.

The current ones are CAT5e rated so I guess they had to make some changes to the pins making them shorter which caused the block to be thinner. Damn IT people. Who the hell uses them for data anyway?

-Hal Hopefully, no one. It's just marketing.
