Not sure if this is appropriate for this forum or not.
I've taken over IT Support for my company (previous person gone with no documentation). This support includes the phone system - Inter-Tel 5270 Axxess 5.2(?). There is no system admin password set - have gone in and changed usernames at stations. I've found the System Administrator voicemail extension but do not have the password to access the admin voice mail to change the passwords assigned to extensions. And I know that mine is the station where programming is done from. Nothing I've seen in documentation talks about being able to reset this password.
Thanks for whatever info.

An authorized dealer can request a reset from Mitel, not sure if support is still available for 5.270.

5.2 is very old. I know you won't like this answer but if you have the DB programming software you can always default the CPU and re-key it. If you do not have experiance to program find a good dealer that will take this on. DND ON is right. Mitel has cut off all support on Inter-tel Axxess unless you have a version 10 or 11 and that will end in a few months. Tough to see a good system get a cap busted into it.

Ok - have reached out to locals but just to clarify - "default CPU and re-key" - that basically a resetting of the entire system that would then have to be rebuilt or restored from backup?
