Our phone system has become increasingly slow and unreliable. Specifically when trying to add a new extension it times out or says system unresponsive. Usually, rebooting the system fixes this temporarily but of course we are looking for a more permanent solution. Would like to try Cix software update. Have been able to find a software update as of yet though for cix670. Anyone have some advice, warnings on this?
Can anyone clarify the difference between Activate Cix update and Cix Software update under Maintenance?
Equipment Type: CIX670 : B--U/BEX- Equipment Version: AR5.20 MT035.00

Is the system performance actually suffering or is it just your connection to it via Network Emanager?
The current software version for the CIX670 is AR5.20 MT067 so yours isn't that far behind.
I have had these issues before but it was more due to the PC running Network Emanager having problems.

I found a spare computer with XP on it and I installed emanager to test the pc connection.
Having problems with emanager opening after installation on the new pc though. I click the emanager shortcut and the browser pops up for about a second and then closes. Not sure what gives, I installed it twice.

lol Thanks!
Now I cant login to emanager with my account. I set up a new user by connecting through our current setup but when I go back to the new PC, no such luck logging in with that either.

It just says incorrect username or password.
Ohhh I guess those accounts will no longer work since starting from scratch. I got in using the default admin login, now just have to set everything else up.

I found out that it is the default name and I'm connected now through the new pc. Thanks for the help, I will post later on any success or lack of in this fixing the issues we've been having.
