Hello, (Tried unsuccessfully to find this topic mentioned)
Recently returned from IP office training and trying to tweek the programming on line appearances. Customer replaced an OLD Panasonic system that changed line status Leds to Red after being handled and is now confused with it remaining Green but blinking at varying cadences. I thought I might be able to assimilate the same line appearances with hunt group assignmnents enabling the lamps to turn Red somehow. They are using 1416s. Has anyone had similar request?

you can assign lines to trunk groups..that is not the issue. You just cant change the status lights. Those type of functions are just going to be different from system to system. It would open up too many troubleshooting nightmares if it were allowed.
