i have a customer with an sts system and when i call in the call id shows in the display but when they try to use the code for seeing missed calls or ansered calls. those codes dont do anything. im stumpped. anyone know if there could be anything other than the equiptment being bad. thanks dave

Check the FAQ's for this forum on CID issues to see if that helps, there's a couple ways to do this depending on which feature package you have.

You may want to check software revision. They changed some internal codes between versions. The user manuals of the phones may list the earlier software version code. If you are using 4 digit extensions, you may need to add the same leading digit to the 3 digit code. Also, you may want to step through Flash 52 in programming to confirm the code you are using is in the pre-programmed codes.

im not sure what software it is but i did check faqs and learned some of them use a differant code for viewing, and the set up programs could be a little differant if it is a later software. thanks for the guidence. dave
