Greetings Folks,

I recently installed my 3rd SBX system so I am still coming up to speed on a few things.

One question that was just posed to me on this install is whether or not you can extend the amount of time for recording your personal greeting.
The end user in question leaves a detailed greeting and unfortunately there is not enough time for his recording. The SBX replaces a legacy Avaya Partner, so naturally I got the statement of the old systme use to let me do that.

Anyone know if I can increase the time and if so, where?

That's done in program 181 or in System Timers.

Dragonfly or Jwooten-
I am running into the same issue. In the Prog/Op manual it says "There is no time limit for recording a user greeting at a station." but I have a system that is cutting off the user greeting at exactly 15 seconds.
Am I missing something in PGM181?

You need to update the mailbox class of service, PGM238. Increase the greeting length.

By default the greeting is 15 seconds, but as Larry said, you can change it in PGM 238
