HELP !!!! On August 18 due to a power failure we lost our voicemail system. Upon removal of the infostar box on August 25 it was discovered that the voicemail harddrive was fried. We still had all the other features working great except the voicemail.
The next morning we lost everything. We turned the power off inside the main box, then turned it back on. We can now receive calls on line 1 on 3 phones out of 10. We found on this board how to access a outside line 900(1,2,3,4,5,) so we can make phone calls but they are in rotary mode, so not able to use buttons for menu access or anything touchtone. We have no features on our stations but the intercom works.
Our technician has tried to access the system by laptop but he was unsuccessful (we have the floppy backup disk). He then tried to access remotely from his phone but I cannot/could not transfer him to 99 since my phones are now rotary operational. I have contacted Aable Communications back east but their expert is not available to help us at this time.
We hope someone on this board can give us some help just to get us through until the system can be repaired or replaced. The main thing would be to get us back to touchtone and out of the rotary mode. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really need to have someone load that disk back in, to get your programming back.
That said, I think you should start looking at a new system. as much as I hate to say it,(I worked directly for Executone for 20 years)
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..

Thanks Nonameyet. We are trying to replace system fassst but just trying to make do until that happens. Can someone by remote get into my system without touchtone features only pulse features? Thanks!
