We have a client who asked us to come in and make some changes to their Nortel BCM200 - issue is, when i got on site it was actually a Coral Flexicom 200v. I have never seen or worked on one of these systems before.... I'm not even sure how to access the prgramming(i.e. laptop, display phone, etc...)

I tried searching their site and the web for a programming manual, but all i could find was the user guides for some of their phones or manuals for their other systems....

The client is adding a new line to the system, and will need to change which lines ring and which extensions.

could anyone direct me to a download link for the programming manual, and possibly give me the steps to change ringing, log into the programming(i DO have the password) and make these ringing changes? Also where would the new lien cut down on the phone block?

thanks!

Programming is done thru Hyperterminal plugged into the serial port on the front of the cabinet. 9600,n 8,1. The Tadiran is one of the most intensive systems for I know of. Not for the faint of heart. Programming would depend on the version number.

Thanks for the info... do you know of anywhere i could locate the programming manual? what would the login ID be?

i have the password, would it be "admin" for the login ID?

is there any set programming, or is it all done through hyper terminal?

The password could be anything on a Tadiran system since that is left up to the installing person to decide. my suggestion would be to find the nearest Tadiran technician and get him to help you out on this one. As Reataylor said, the Tadiran system is very extensive in programming, probably more so than the Nortel systems.

All programming is done through the terminal interface. As to programming, what version are you running? It will show when you log in.
