I have lost the keyboard programming for my arrow keys in Procomm to work with the Flash VM. I routinely readjust Alt-F8 for whichever system I am working on, but haven't changed the arrow keys. When I tried programming on a Flash yesterday, first in a while, the arrow keys didn't want to work. Looked for the proper emulation in the manual, but Tadiran don't say which to use. Tried several of the standards, ANSIBBS, VT100, TVI910, IBMPC... None seemed to work. I could get the right arrow moving with ^L, but that was it.

Could someone check and tell me what key combo's work for them?

I do not use procomm for the flash mail i use hyper terminal for it, 2400, 8, N, 1, xon/xoff for flow control and I set the emulation to automatic. Works best for me.

Flash VM for the ICE. Procomm has worked great for me on just about any application and used to work great on the Flash, I just have lost the keyboard programming that work and none of the emulators seem to work. Keyboard mapping is one of the reasons I stick with procomm, it allows you to automate input easier than anything else I've found. I just stuck my foot in it and am trying to find the way out.

Function Key Mapping
Most  versions  of  Procomm  Plus  have  only  the  first  four  function  (F) keys  mapped  to
terminal  functions.  Each  F  key  has  four  states  that  can  be  programmed. You  only
need  to  program  the  NORMAL  state. These  settings  are  found  under  the  Setup
option, Terminal  Setup, Keyboard  files.
The  correct  key  mappings  for  1 -4 are  as  follows:
F1  . . . . . . . . . . . ^[OP
F2  . . . . . . . . . . . ^[OQ
F3  . . . . . . . . . . . ^[OR
F4  . . . . . . . . . . . ^[OS

I was actually talking the arrow keys, do the Fkeys navigate for you? I don't have a flash handy for testing.

Boy, that will sure teach me to trust the Tadiran manuals, they say to use the arrow keys. Just got our stock Flash replaced so I'll fire it up and try. Actually, I thought I had convinced sales not to sell the Flash, but....

Not selling the Flash would be the best thing to do. But then again I said that about the UCMC when it first came out as well. smile
